Eliane grew up in a family, where singing was always encouraged. As a child, Eliane got to sing for the last Vietnamese Emperor, to whom she was distantly related to. When little, spending time in south of France at the Zen-village of Thich Nhat Hanh, Eliane would often sing on stage in the evenings. Eliane attended a Waldorff School (Rudolf Steiner School) where music always played an important role and she learned to play the violin. As a teenager, Eliane attended a childrens choir and took singing lessons at the Conservatory of Music in Bern, Switzerland. At the age of 14 Eliane started acting and singing professionally at the Stadttheater Bern( City theatre of Bern).
